Mickey 17 is a science fiction black comedy directed by Bong Joon-ho, starring Robert Pattinson as Mickey Barnes, an “expendable” on a human expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. As an expendable, Mickey undertakes dangerous missions, dying and being reborn in a new cloned body each time.

Turncoat Pictures was one of the VFX Vendors (alongside DNEG, Framestore and Rising Sun Pictures) on Mickey 17, crafting over 200 final shots for the film. Our team started early and helped with Postvis during the director’s cut. Ultimately providing 120 temps for the various screenings.
